Last Frontier Diving received in 2006 the prestigious 5 Star recognition of a “National Geographic
Instructor Development Center” by the largest scuba diving training organization in the world: PADI
(Professional Association of Diving Instructors).
Our staff of dedicated instructors and divemasters will assist you in the progression of your recreational
diving training or all the way up to your new career as a scuba diving instructor.
The National Geographic Scuba program includes three levels of training.
Level 1 – PADI Standard Open Water Referral Program
Learn to scuba dive safely in a swimming pool environment in conjunction with classroom
training and some homework. At the completion of this program and after all training
requirements, you will be ready for Level 2 Training in our local environment or to a warm
water destination of your choice. Cost: $399.00. Duration: 5 evenings.
Includes: instructor’s and divemaster’s fee, complete National Geographic student binder,
classroom instruction, pool training, and all scuba diving rental equipment, except your
personal gear (mask, fins, and snorkel). You will have the option to purchase these at a
discount or to rent them for the duration of your program for the cost of $50.00.
Additional costs to this program are the transportation cost to and from the dive store and the pool.
Level 2 – PADI Open Water Check-out Dives
During this program you will apply your classroom knowledge and your pool training
to 4 supervised scuba dives over 2 days. These dives include some underwater exploration
and skill review. After completion of all training requirements you will receive the PADI
Open Water Certification that will allow you to dive anywhere in the world at your level of
training. Cost: $399.00.
Includes: instructor’s fees, divemaster’s fee, 4 supervised scuba dives, all rental equipment
including scuba tanks, BCD, regulator, computer, compass, dry suit), PADI Open Water Certification
Registration.
In addition you will be responsible for your personal gear (mask, fins, snorkel, and gloves). Available to purchase
or to rent for a cost of $50.00 for the duration of the program.
Additional to this program are transportation, personal costs to and out of dive location, overnight stay and food costs.
Level 3 – National Geographic Scuba Diver Certification
This program will conclude your goal of becoming a National Geographic Scuba Diver under professional supervision and will open many other
opportunities to learn more about other exciting diving opportunities with the PADI organization. Cost: $349.00.
Includes: Instructor’s fees, divemaster’s fee, 3 supervised scuba dives, all rental equipment except mask, fins, snorkel, gloves, PADI National Geographic
Registration.
Additional Costs: Mask, fins, snorkel, and glove rental if necessary and personal transportation, food and lodging.

Level 2 Training starts every Fourth Weekend of every month.
Level 3 Training starts ever Second Weekend of every month.
